Healthier Swaps

  • Instead of chips, try popcorn with Bragg’s amino acids and nutritional yeast (find in bulk at your favorite health food store)
  • Instead of a high-sugar bar, granola or gummy candy, make your own trail mix with 2/3 raw nuts and seeds and 1/3 unsweetened cranberries or goji berries.
  • Instead of soda or fruit juice box, flavor water with fruit or Nuun flavor tablets (find at most health food or sports stores; only need ¼ tablet to flavor eight ounces of water)
  • Instead of ice cream or yogurt, blend frozen banana, raw almond butter and a non-dairy nut or seed milk.
